Default Has anyone been paid by eZdia yet?

I have only been with this company for a couple of weeks. They paid promptly via Paypal, as promised, for my sample last Monday (their weekly pay day). So, I proceeded to complete a fairly large amount of work with them. Last week I was paid at 1:00 EST. It is 7:25 EST and I have received nothing. In fact, I emailed several hours ago inquiring about it, and I have not heard anything yet. Communication has always been prompt up until now...go figure. I don't want to jump the gun yet and panic, especially since they are aligned with some very large online retailers (which ultimately was the peace of mind I needed to go forth and complete such a large amount of work). I mean, what large retailer would outsource its work to a less-than-reputable SEO media company? None that I know of. But, I'm still a bit concerned at this point and wondering if anyone else (currently working with them on any of their projects) has been paid today. Thanks!

No, it's here: Quality Content @ Scale? | eZdia, an SEO marketing company.

They wanted to hire me, but the rates they quoted was 200 word product descriptions for $2. A penny a word was not worthwhile to me. They did say that payment for the first two weeks would be made weekly and then after that they switch writers to monthly payments.

Default I will...

Hey Pursonality,

I will sign up and give it a try. I'm curious to find out if they pay. I will let you and the forum know.

Very strange payment format. I wonder why they do it that way.

I just applied. I put $15 for what I want for a 500 word article, so I'm sure I won't get many of those. $2 for a 200 word product description sounds almost like they are outsourcing MTurk stuff. Product descriptions are pretty easy. I do them on MTurk sometimes, and I can do one in about 10 minutes. CrowdSource pays $3.50 for 140 word product descriptions, and those go pretty fast.

I applied but did not get a response from them. I guess my rates were too high.
