Default a heads-up on another "dud"

I was scraping to make a few extra $, and found kjbcreations.com.

First, the site says it's a good way to make extra money- even for college students to pay their tuitions.
Fact: there were only two available articles, & one rewrite-- the articles were only $3. apiece.

Second, what led me to the site was "daily pay."
Fact: I chose an article, posted "I accept" on the board, wrote & submitted the article the day before yesterday; contacted the guy yesterday, & he said he'd review it. Since, I've received no payment, but a bunch of FWDs for those "spend money to make money" things.

Then I went to the site again & found "this account has been suspended"-- the site is no longer there.

I'll add: my 'I accept' was still listed as 'awaiting moderation'- 2 days after I submitted the article.

They know we need work and are anxious to work. These scams are just ridiculous.

Hope you saved the article, at least? Set up a Google alert for it to make sure he doesn't use it without paying you, and maybe toss it into CC too to resell, if it's generic enough.

That website appears back online. It looks like the registration was renewed recently, maybe he forgot to renew on time.

Thanks for the idea about Google alerts.

Yes, I see they're back online.
No $ or response, though.

Sorry, I should've added an update to this topic.
They eventually did pay me the $3. for the article, and also sent me bunches of spam.
Example: Look - we need to talk, because the reality of this 'thing' is
that all I'm doing is placing a couple low budget ads a day
and watching people visit my site (like you did), then watching
the serious ones convert to paid members.
I'm getting enough people to my website a day (several hundred) to
find multiple serious people - a day - that see the potential
and pay JUST $300 to quickly develop my kind of lifestyle.
This same thing can happen for you... I'm gonna show you how to
get this same kind of traffic to your site to have the same affect.

I guess you get the picture-- a lot of unnecessary aggravation when all a person expects is a few dollars for writing a few articles.
