Default Thinking of Applying for Team Orders on TB

I am considering applying for a few team orders on TB. However, I am little unsure of how they work and how *well* they work. Since it has been out for a couple of weeks (?) I was wondering if yall could share your experiences with them. Do they provide steady work? Is it difficult to get accepted to teams? Etc. Etc. :-)

I've only applied for one and haven't heard back yet (It's been over a week.) I saw another that is perfect for me but they state you must have written at least 50 articles, which I haven't because I only use TB when I have absolutely nothing else pending. So, that might be the reason why I'm not getting DO's either...

I'm in 5 different teams and as of right now I am only working on article # 2 acquired through a team order. At first i thought team orders would be great, but so far they seem pretty useless.

I'm sure there are teams, which offer plenty of work.

I'm on a couple of teams, still waiting to hear back on another (it's been weeks). I've never seen any jobs for any of my teams, although I don't look at TB every day.

So far, it's been kind of useless.

I'm on one team and waiting to hear back from another. So far, the team that I am with has not had any work or I just am not catching it. I'm sure there will be work eventually. I don't see the harm in applying for teams, it will give you something extra to do if there is work and if there is not work, you can just work on general orders or direct orders.

I've been accepted to eight teams; however, I have not seen one single order for any of them. I don't know if I am missing them or if the work just isn't there. I find them useless, but if you have some extra time it couldn't hurt to apply to one.

Haha I am seeing a pattern here. I guess the question should be does anyone on here receive steady or even regular work from these team orders?

I'm on a handful of teams. Out of the ones in the open invite list that I applied to and was accepted for, I only saw a few orders and only wrote one. I'm on four teams that were invite only. They created a group of writers who had written for them in the past and put out 15 - 30 articles at a time for the team to pick up. I've written a bunch of those.

I get better results from the teams that I got into because they were happy with my open order work. On one of them, I even got a DO out of it because I wrote a small team related article and the client decided they liked it and wanted me to expand it.

I am on 2 teams and have not had any work so far. I'd say go ahead and join the ones you can since there is no harm. I personally just wouldn't spend much time applying right now since there is no guarantee that you'll get any work anytime soon.
