Hi there!

Anyone have experience writing for Examiner.com? I normally won't write for low or no pay sites, but I think I am going to do it for this site since it appears there is a possibility for good exposure in the future. I was just wondering what other people have experienced with the site in terms of professionalism, pay, flexibility, etc. It seems like a good opportunity if they put some marketing behind it. I like the layout of their site, as well. Plus, the topic they have hired me to write for I have a ton of knowledge and passion for. I'm just curious how it's panned out for others.

I am writing for them and I really like it so far. They are very professional and it is easy to put articles on the site. I am the National Family Travel Examiner. I am happy with them.

Unfortunately, there's no solid paycheck. I believe they pay $2 per 1000 PPVs.

I've been eye-ing this site for a month or so...it looks really neat. I've just had a lot going on so this has kind of moved to the back burner.

If they pay $2 per 1000 views that is better than AC in the residuals department.

and STACIE, how long have you been writing for them and how did you get that great title?

Exactly! And they are city-specific, so I feel that the material written is very relevant...kind of like a local paper.

My husband just got hired for this job as well and they told him it was $2.50 per article at a minimum of 3 articles per week. She also said he could get paid more but he didn't pay attention to all the details.
