Default Need recommendations for Wordpress themes

Hey!

I am looking for a theme with a clean look that is free. I am investing in Thesis in a few weeks but would like to change my theme until then.

Any suggestions?

Hey!

I love Wordpress thesis. I have the developer version. I haven't moved to 2.0 yet...still comfortable with 1.85.

As for clean WP themes, try this site.

Cheers,

I second the vote for Thesis. I don't have 2.0 yet either ... I'm happy with 1.85. But you can't go wrong with that theme.

Thesis is wonderful! But for a temporary free theme I'd suggest Flexibility. Very easy to set up and use:

Free and easy to use, then Flexibility is your choice. Make sure to get it from their own site though, you never know what could have been added to the code if you download it from somewhere else.

If you want a great free theme you should try the suffusion theme by sayontan sinha.
It is amazing, better than thesis IMO. I will be glad to help you, just pm me.

I'll be playing with Thesis 2.0 in a few weeks time. Based on the videos out there, it appears I can minimize adding extra codes in tweaking to my desired designs.

I just started my wordpress blog today and took your advice on Flexibility. Wow! It's so user friendly for the novice! So thankful to have found this recommendation. Makes the transition to WP all the more enjoyable!
