Advertise Your Business forum

The Advertise Your Business forum is for promoting your business. Please review the rules detailed below before you post a business advertisement thread. Infractions are given if rules not followed.

Webinars, Online Conferences, Real-time Chats forum

This forum is for webinars, online conferences and real-time chats ONLY. Ads MUST include date and time of event and include a link to your website showing how to register for a webinar or include phone number and call in PIN for conference calls. You are allowed to bump your post ONE time only in this forum ONLY but it should be the only ad you have on page one of the forum at a time. No general business ads are allowed (just advertising your business or linking to your website). All other ads here will be deleted and you will be given an infraction. PLEASE place ads for your business, sales and specials in the Advertise Your Business forum.

Social Networking Link Exchanges forum

The Social Networking Link Exchanges forum is for sharing your social networking links in the appropriate forum thread. All other ads will be deleted and an infraction given.

Party Plans - Monthly Specials forum

The Party Plans - Monthly Specials forum is for promoting party plan products. Please advertise your monthly specials in the appropriate thread by category. Post your special for each month only once. For ease of use for the shopper, post the company name, month and year in the title. Utilize the tag area for more exposure. No Recruiting - please add recruitment ads to your signature or post an ad in Advertise your business to share kit and signup specials. All other ads will be deleted and an infraction given.

Shop Arts & Crafts - Homemade forum

The Shop Arts & Crafts - Homemade forum is for promoting products that are HANDMADE by WAHMs only. All other ads will be deleted and an infraction given. If your product isn't handmade by you, your ad belongs in the Advertise Your Business folder, please. Please do not create separate listings for individual items - one ad per page.

Shop Garage Sales - Sell or Trade forum

The Shop Garage Sales - Sell or Trade forum is for promoting products that are personal items for sale or to trade by WAHMs only. All other ads will be deleted and an infraction given. Please do not create separate listings for individual items - one ad per page.

Requirements for Posting

Users must have 15 posts and be registered for 10 days before they can post new threads in Promote Your Business.

Bumping

Definition: Bumping an ad moves it to the top of the folder. It happens with a reply to an ad.

DO NOT bump up threads, whether yours or not, in this folder.

ONLY REPLIES WITH SUBSTANCE ARE ALLOWED – that is, they ask a legitimate question, contribute insight, or otherwise add value to the discussion.

POSTS INTENDED TO SPAM OR BUMP WILL BE DELETED. Repeat offenders will get infractions.

Bumping is allowed ONLY in the Webinars, Online Conferences, Real-time Chats forum (only one bump per ad if date of online event has NOT yet passed).

Business Name in Post Title

Put your business name (e.g., “Mom’s Team”) or business initials (e.g., “MT”) in the Title of your post. All posts without the business name or business initials will be deleted. DO NOT put your own initials unless that is your business name.

Commenting Courtesy

DO NOT reply to another member's post with your own ad or any type of negative comment! These will be deleted, and you'll be given an infraction.

Income Claims

All ads, posts, links, and signature files containing income claims of any type will be deleted.

Plagiarism

DO NOT copy from another poster’s ad. Make up your own script!

Reposting

Post only ONCE. You may repost again once your ad has rolled off the first page. If you have more than one ad, post one; then post the other one when the first one has rolled off the first page. Double posts will be deleted.

Scams

All scams will be deleted! DO NOT post ads for Data Entry, Home Typists Wanted, Order Processors, Chain Letter Type Programs, or anything similar (Type International, PayPal chains, etc.), or ads for cash gifting programs. All will be deleted.

Usernames

You are only allowed one username. Do NOT sign up for multiple usernames to post more than one advertisement in this folder.

Website Links

Website links are allowed only if your company name is in the link itself.
