Default How much choice do you have about what you work on?

I've never done Virtual Assisting before, so was wondering if you get to choose what you do or do you just do whatever they (your employer/client) asks of you? Like, there might be one or two things that I might be good at (theoretically, at least) but other things that I'm sure I'd be awful at so,....do you just snap up the things that look interesting or even possible for you? Or do you basically latch on to a whole person and do ALL of their needs?

Depends on the contract I think.

As a business owner if I look for a VA I do so with a specific group of tasks in mind. And I want to find a VA who is proficient in those tasks.
