I guess it is an individual choice. IMO the more credentials you have the more employable you are. Even though I have an offer on the table I still plan on sitting for the RMT. It would seem silly not to.

RMT status does not matter to me at this time. I only care what the employers care about as I am in this to make a living.

At this time, the RMT is not seen as a priority by most MTs...butthe school is.

As a person who is going to enroll in a MT school, in your opinion which school would you all recommend getting trained with?

If you read through all of the posts here regarding this topic (and there are tons; I know because I was making the same decision a couple of months ago and read them all!) you will find that most recommend one of the 'top 3'. Andrews, CareerStep, or M-Tec. These are the three that graduates seem to most consistently land jobs after completing.
