they pay .054 cents per word so if you type 100 words you would make 54 cents hope that helps.

I don't know what you get paid, but it would be .0054 per word for 100 words to equal 54 cents.

.054 per word would equal $5.40 per 100 words. It is actually .0054 per word for 100 words which would be .54 for 100 words.

Is that considered good pay?

How does their pay compare to a 65-character line with spaces?

Thanks

I think that is within range for most of the other companies out there.

I've been with U for almost a year now and it seems that an hour audio will have on average of 8000 ($43.20) to 10000 ($54.00) words. That's actually calculated .0054 x 8000 or 10000. Hope that helps.

Hi all. I just started with Ubiqus and have a question. I rec'd my first transcription job on Friday and it was due on Monday morning. I emailed it to "U" on Sunday afternoon. When I checked my email on Monday night, they had sent me an email asking about the status of my assignment (and they wanted me to reply by Sunday morning!). I tried to call but no one was available as it was after hours. Is this a fairly routine thing sending out these emails? I hope they don't ax me 'cause of not responding.

Also, how often do you recieve jobs? My first one was on Friday, but received nothing on Monday. How many do you typically get per week?

Thanks so much!
