Thanks for bringing this up and also for the hint about CVS. I bought a gallon last night (got home from the grocery store about 4:30 pm) and it's gone. I have to go tomorrow to get another gallon. There's three of us and we all drink it.

YW Loretta! Yes, everyone. Please try this. Start off slowly if you need to. Add a little water when your family isn't looking. Don't even tell them or they may throw a fit (from kiddos to wife/hubby) LOL.

One good way to save on milk is to get the reduced organic milk from Kroger. It can be used immediately or frozen. My local Kroger reduces milk in the mornings every other day. They regularly reduce dairy milk. Hope this helps someone.

that's a great idea so does it taste like you are drinking the fat free milk? I've also been using dry milk to cook with because you really can't taste the dry milk in cooking.

I make my own soy milk. Have the kiddos make it with you and add some chocolate. They'll love it. Google it for the recipe. There's lots of recipes out there.

I have two growing boys and we go thru milk like water. We have an Aldi's up the street and their milk is $1.99. We recently started getting it there. They have not complained.

Great tip!!
I used to do this all the time. I would recommend adding 1T of sugar and 1t of salt to the mix...really helps it not taste like watered down milk!

Great idea. I water down juice a lot so it's not so sweet.
