I just signed up with Stampin Up as only a Hobby Demonstrator. I loved the "pick your own kit" and am placing another order next week just for myself!

I have been scrapbooking for many years and I am converting to using only Stampin Up since I love the way everything coordinates!

I am not a Demonstrator. I do love making cards and I attended a Meetup with a Stamping Up Demonstrator. It is a great way to introduce people to the products and the craft. She holds monthly events at her home. She organizes all kinds of Stamping events. If you have not heard of Meetup, just google it and you will see all kinds of activities. It may be a good way to build a customer base.
