Olive trees originated from Asia, but have been cultivated for over 3,000 years in the Mediterranean.


Olive oil is good for so many things, including combating cholesterol that the ancients believed in it's healing properties and used it for prayer and healing.

I cook with olive oil too. I actually use it in pretty much everything I cook because of its healthy properties. It also helps with inflamation, which I have a bad problem with. I used it last night in a cake- substitute olive oil for vegetable oil and the cake becomes a lot healthier.
Isn't olive oil the holy oil that the Catholic church uses? It seems like I remember hearing that.

Actually after cleansing the home of negetive energy, I use the olive oil over the doors and windows basically to seal them and stop anything from coming back in. This is a christian practice as is the use of olive oil. Great protection. One might even want to smear some at the top of your monitor just for a little extra protection while working on the internet.

It is not the olive oil that carries the power per say but the pray and faith behind it. I am speaking from a Christian perspective of course. You can use all the olive oil and spices you like but if you don't have the blood of Jesus add to it it's just olive oil for cooking not anointing oil for deliverance.
