Default Missing my mini-dachshund

I had a mini-dachshund for 17 year, she had two back surgeries when she was younger and was a part of the family. She was a great family dog and will be missed very much...

Default heartbreak

I can understand the heartbreak. My baby was 16 1/2. I could not even go to the vegtable dept. or the pet food isle in a store for about 6 months.she loved carrots. There is a poem called "the rainbow bridge"Look it up and read it.It might help a little. My condolances to you. It is so heartbreaking.

I am sorry Mark. Our cat died on New Years Day. He'd been my buddy for over 17 and a half years. When I was working on the computer, he'd come running in, jump up into my arms, and want to be cuddled and petted.

I can understand the loss of a beloved pet. They really do become part of the family and I offer you my condolences.
