Default Snake as a pet?

Anyone has a snake as a pet? and what do you think of the idea to keep one?
I'm strongly against, as I'm totally frightened of them!

don't have one and i'm not interested to have one either..
having one as a pet is not that bad as long they know how to keep it..
Love is like water; We can fall in it. We can drown in it. And we can't live with out it

I don't personally own a snake, but they are fine as pets if someone likes them. It is just important to keep the snake's housing area clean, since they not only smell bad but can be full of bacteria and salmonella.
