ESSAY TO CORRECT
Work to video correct:

QUESTION: In today's competitive world, many families find it necessary for both parents to go out to work. While some say the children in these families benefit from the additional income, others feel they lack support because of their parents' absence.

ANSWER

The issue of both working parents has grown in importance over the last few years. Various sociological experts claim that this way of earning could contribute in providing a better life to the children, however there can be significant drawbacks. This essay will discuss these issues using example from India and the University of Princeton to demonstrate points and support arguments.

On the one hand, the importance of both parents employment in a family cannot be ignored. This is because of the pressure exerted by increasing inflation and growing academic expense in various developing countries For example, in India the tuition fees of major universities have considerably increased in recent years to fulfill international standards. It has badly affected a vast majority of middle class population, those who depend on single breadwinner. A report by the Times of India showed a drop of 20% students' enrolment in leading institution due to this recent increase. Therefore, in order to compete in global economy, both parents should work.

On the other hand, some working parents especially females find it difficult to spent sufficient time with children. This is largely due to poor wok-home balance. Parents' role in raising responsible children is vital. As being impressionable, there are chances that children might learn things that could damage their personality and pose a great threat to their future. A study by the University of Princeton showed a significant propensity of younger children towards drugs and petty crimes, those lacking parental support and guidance. It is therefore, both parents work has to be challenged.

To conclude, in order to tackle overwhelming challenges of our competitive world, I believe that both parents work is essential. Their working hours and job schedule should be arranged in such a way that at least one member should always be present to fulfill children needs.
