Question Tutor.com??

I got an email yesterday that I was FINALLY taken off the waiting list for Social Studies and English Writing. I wrote my essay and passed. Now all I have to do is fax in all my information.

Could anyone tell me about their experiences with this company and what exactly the work entails, pay, hours, etc.?

I appreciate the help in advance!

I moved the thread to the Online Tutor folder in hopes you will receive a better response.

Congrats! Work entails helping student with a specific homework question or assignment (in essay writing there is a lot of proofreading). Pay is $9 an hour for probationary tutors, $10 for Tutor I and so on. You pick your own hours (pending what is available) and are expected to work an average of 5 hours per week. You can also float. Let me know if you have any more questions

Congrats! I was also just taken off the waiting list (after being on it for over a year!). Now I have to send in my paperwork.
