Default How to handle objections

How do you handle objections? For me, when objections happen be it for product or to join my team, my mantra is to stay calm and to keep my power. Replying with simple questions back, with out being defensive, can diffuse the situation and get to the root of what the person hidden objection really is. Sometimes the person is just a jerk, and you have to be ready for those situations too.

How do you handle objections?

Let people talk. Your offering them an opportunity if they reject it not now doesn't mean never.

You have to get to the root of the objection. Then discover what will eliminate that objection.

Asking questions is certainly a great way to lead them in that direction. And letting them talk (in answering the questions), as Cornelius said, will get you the info you need. If you know the right questions to ask.

People will tell you everything you need to know if you give them the chance, and the proper guidance.
