I would like information on USANA. I have been checking their track record and they seem very sound, strong business wise. However, i would like to know more from the associate perspective. Any info would be appreciated, such as comp plan pros and cons, good/strong points and bad/weak points. I appreciate it. Thank you. Bootsie[img]smileys/smiley9.gif[/img]

Thank you those that PM me. I am researching USANA since my friend wants me to join her team, but I don't know much about binaries like usana or isa.

I was with USANA for awhile before joining Shaklee. I can honestly say I am so much happier with Shaklee than I was with USANA. USANA has limited products...no non-toxic cleaning items, no cosmetics, no air or water systems. People into health want TOTAL health not just a few items to select from. I never understood USANA's compensation plan, just could never make sense of it. Shaklee's is easy to understand thus easy to share with others. Plus Shaklee has over 50 years experience. I have had a very easy time building a team with Shaklee, something that wasn't easy with USANA. I could go on and on, but feel free to email me at [email protected] and I could help you. I would suggest a book by Russ Paley, The Ultimate Guide to Network Marketing. This was the most informative book on the subject I have read to date. He dedicates an entire chapter about compensation plans that is a must-read for anyone looking to be successful in evaluating or participating in this business.

I'll be brief: I think the primary question here should be "do you want to be in a binary pay plan"? Because if you don't, then that will pretty much solve your question of whether USANA is right for you.
Binaries work very differently from every other type of MLM program and not always in a good way. Also, if you're looking for books that describe the different types of pay plans, I'd recommend "How To Build A Multi-Level Money Machine" by Randy Gage "Your First Year In Network Marketing" by Mark and Rene Yarnell Both have excellent chapters on pay plan design and the pros and cons. Hey Bootsie! I'm not with Usana but it has great products with a great reputation! And all I can say is that I don't know about their Binary, but I love mine! I do believe you can be successful in any company as long as you have absolute beliefs in their products, company founders, and pay plan. Then you must have strong beliefs in yourself, your team and in the NWM industry! If you have all these, you will do great in Usana or any other company you choose!
