BF is usually one of my favorite days of the year,but i'm just not feeling it this year. DH and I will probably go, just because we go to a different city and it will be nice to get away, but I'm not really in the mood to shop this year. We are really on the look out for good deals on laptops for DS #1 so that will probably be our black friday mission. Who's going and what bargains are you hunting for?

We are also looking for laptop deal. Walmart had one a couple wks ago and dh got up early for it but they had already run out. Other than that, there is nothing we are really looking for this yr.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I'm going. I've been talking about going with some members of the family but I'm not really sure if there's anything I need.
Besides, even if those are great deals, it's still hard to part with my money, especially during these times. Leanna

I usually shop on Black Friday, but I don’t go early. I usually don’t go before 10. I miss the early bird specials, but they aren’t usually something I need. I buy toys for my daughter and many items (mostly just small toy sets) are still on sale by the time I get around to going.

I am going to get up early and only go to the PX, I want to get DH a GPS for his truck and we want a metal detector. But go off base in this city I would have to be nuts. Last year I went when we lived in Kansas and I had a great time but no thank you not this year.

No, I never shop on Black Friday. I'm not much of an offline shopper to begin with.

I have never been shopping on "Black Friday." I have had friends ask me to go and say its fun. I have also heard horror stories of people fighting over stuff in stores as well, sorry but that doesn't sound fun to me. I try to get what I need a little as I go along.[img]smileys/smiley1.gif[/img]

I find it helps if you have to go out to make a list first, so the temptation isn't there to overspend.
