Patti, why sell someone else's dips when you can have your own Dip company? I started out 6 years ago selling someone else's dips. 7 months later I realized I was just wasting money and making someone else rich. You can have your own dip company for very little start up. Our dips are amazing!

Google Chadwick's Naturals..

Default The Gourmet Cupboard

The Gourmet Cupboard is a great food mix company to join! We have so much variety with 200+ mixes!

Great people to do business with and the food really does sell itself.

Contact me if you have any interest in learning more. I'll be posting another thread but it wouldn't allow me to put an URL until a made a first post! See my thread under The Gourmet Cupboard.

Thank you,
Meredith

I'm still here checking in! Determined to try to breathe new life into this forum. It was so helpful a few years back. Facebook has dominated, but it can be irritating.

Still working my food mix business with a few shows lined up in December. I love selling this time of year! Anyone else having fun with their business this holiday season?

Default Spring Shows! Favorite Samples?

This is a great time of year to book craft/vendor shows! I've got a few lined up in my area, how about you? Any other food reps. doing shows/events this spring?

Do you have favorite mixes you sample? My top choices are The Gourmet Cupboard's Mexican Fiesta Dip, Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Dip, Spinach Dip, Beer Bread, Spicy Saltines, and Tropical Chicken Salad. So delicious! Those do real well here in the Midwest.

Happy spring...well almost.

I thought " The Gourmet Cupboard" was closed a while ago maybe I'm wrong? I tried your link and it doesn't take you to the gourmet cupboard either? I think maybe I was thinking of another company but I still did want to check out the mixes if you could PM me a link that will work thank you!

Hi Linda,

I think you are thinking of Homemade Gourmet. They exited the direct sales business a few years back and now they sell online only.

Default Food Mix Business

What makes your food mix business special? How did you decide to sell food?

I've been thinking about this after a show I did on Saturday. I had several customers settle on my booth after they had been through the fair w/o a purchase. "Oh, Food mixes! Now that's something I need." "Food sells!" That's what I heard from my customers. I love selling food because it really does sell itself. Put out the samples and they will come!

How about you? Why do you love selling food?

Oh, I would love to have the opportunity to open a little bakery and work there. I don't know why I always have this vision of a bakery in a small town but my world is too different than this vision. However, it will be nice to have it one day. Too bad the competition is too dominant and I don't see myself surviving...
