Great tips! I did not follow these tips many years back and ended up with a stress fracture. It's so important to listen to your body and give it a break when it needs it.

It's more important to monitor the type of exercise you are doing rather than simply cutting back.

Often times people are just doing it incorrectly. The best results are made when you on a program optimized for you. To generalize however, results are made when you simply do it properly. People who run on the treadmill for hours are often confused as to why their body seems to hate them. Get a proper workout plan and stick to it. Proper plans are designed to allow your body to get proper rest.
