Hello ladies! I hope all you all are doing great. Just wanted to see if you all can give me some ideas on how I can workout for the next couple of weeks without using my legs. I rolled my ankle really bad yesterday playing some b-ball and now I really have not idea where to start as far as working out.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Do you belong to a gym? I would do weight machines, not using that ankle.

Hope your ankle is feeling better soon!!

If you can tell me what pieces of equipment you have available, or what areas of your body are lacking, or wanting improvements, I can help you

You could do quite a few different things for your core strength without using your feet, while laying on your back, side, or stomach. I can teach you a very good cardio exercise while sitting on your butt.

Let me know.

Can you swim? It is great cardio as long as you can't feel the pain when you are swimming. When my knees bother me, I like to swim because you are pretty weightless in the water. And yoga would probably work if you avoided those standing poses and focused on your lower back and arms.

Here's a nice little ab/core training workout. Do what you can. Spend maybe 5 minutes at the begining of your workout doing this.

I had a stress fracture on the top of my foot several months ago. My doctor told me to use those resistance bands so that I would at least not lose muscle tone.
