I'd be happy to answer! Some of the best selling oils are Lavender, lemon and peppermint since they are so versatile. They can really be used for so many things. The supplements are also very big sellers. As for the difference between DT and YL? I can't speak for YL because I am not with them. All I can say is that I did 3 years of research before joining DT and could not be happier with my choice. If you have any more questions, please feel free to PM me anytime.

Thanks!
Lavender I understand...for relaxation, right? Lemon and peppermint I'll have to look in to. Three years of research! Wow! And I thought I was a deep researcher!! Good for you! Thanks again! |

Lemon is great for cleansing both our bodies and our homes. It can also be energizing. Peppermint is my go to oil for headaches. Hubs used to holler for tylenol and now it's all about the peppermint! It made him a believer! Also wanted to tell you that there is a "trio" that includes Lavender, Lemon and Peppermint. One is 5 ml bottles and the other is 15 ml bottles. Layering the three oils will also help allergy symptoms

Both companies are great however here are the differences that I am aware of...
YL is probably the closest to doTERRA quality. The main difference is that YL grows all of their plants on site whereas Doterra sources their oils from the places all around the world where the plants are indigenous. Where the plants are naturally grown. doTERRA forms relationships with growers and is concerned about their welfare and their communities economic growth. There are some great videos on doterra.com about the lives that have been changed and the jobs provided because of doTERRA. Very cool stuff. It is my understanding the YL tests in house and doTERRA uses 3rd party testers so completely unbiased testing. Here is a link the testing doTERRA doeshttp://www.doterratools.com/documents/CPTG_Testing_Methods.pdf Also, of course the business plan is different but I'm not sure if you're interested in that. My favorite oils are On Guard, Serenity, Lemon and Lavender. Best sellers though would be the ClaryCalm blend. It's a women's blend that is amazing for teenagers as well. You can rub it right on abdomen over the ovaries for cramps and grouchiness. Elevation is great. I recently gave a friend a roller ball of it who is experiencing postpartum depression and she LOVES it and is telling all her friends about how much it is helping her. Oh and one more I have to share is a blend of lavender and melaleuca. Works on ear aches and ear infections - basically immediate relief. Very easy for me to sell/share those two as well. I could go on and on...LOL ![]() |
