Good afternoon everybody! How was your weekend?
I got to thinking I know a lot of moms and kids are doing remote learning. Kids love creating recipes. So why not add Apple Pie In A Jar? A yummy project in the kitchen you and your kids can do together. Plus you can take the recipe below and also create a sugar-free dessert. It all depends on how creative you get. Ingredients: 1 PTM Apple Pie Dessert Mix 8 oz cool whip, thawed 8 oz cream cheese, softened a pinch of PTM Cinnamon Swirl Dessert Mix 10 graham crackers, crushed 1 can apple filling Instructions: 1. In a zip lock bag, add graham crackers. Take a rolling pin or glass or something hard and carefully crush crackers. 2. In bowl, add cream cheese and apple pie dessert mix. Mix well. Fold in the cool whip until fully combined. 3. Add an even layer of crushed graham crackers into the bottom of each glass jar. 4. Add a layer of cheesecake mixture on top of the crushed graham crackers in each glass jar. 5. Add an even layer of apple filling on top of the cheesecake mixture of each glass jar. 6. Add a layer of cheesecake mixture on top of the apple filling in each glass jar. 7. Top with apple filling and then a pinch of cinnamon swirl dessert mix in each glass jar. 8. Chill for 1 hour or until ready to serve. Have a great week! Come back Thursday for another Holiday recipe! Think ice cream.
