Question for all the direct sales candle gals

On the thread "What are you melting or burning?" Do you only melt or burn products that you sell? Do you ever step outside of the box and melt or burn something from a different vendor? Just curious. It seems to me that when I read the posts all of you are melting or burning something from the company that you represent. I know many of the Direct Sales Companies have fantastic products.

I like candles and melts from a wide variety of vendors and use them daily. Some melts I use are from Direct Sales Companies and I love them, other melts are from chandlers across the US. And still others are from the local mall. I guess I just love my melts

Believe me I have burned plently of candles in my days. And their are a few companies on here I have tried...but here again just speaking for myself, once I found a product I loved that is what I mainly use...why not....I started selling it because I loved it. I have tried a couple of new things out there...but nothing has made me switch yet.

This is so easy for me. I am a firm believer in using the products you represent and I happen to love my company's products.. that is all I use.

I totally agree with Jen. I joined my company specifically because the candles were so great. I would never use another company product. With all the scents we have, why would I need to?

I have to ditto the other ladies. I personally have tried every direct sale and high end mall candle in the past (except one I see here on the forums). The reason why I only burn and melt my products, is because I love them the most.... the way they burn and smell. I also believe in being the product of the product and when people come to my home, they see only my products.

I agree! I love our company so much and truly believe in them. They had an original idea and I haven't been able to find a similar product that can compare to the quality, and I've tried them all. I also can't bring myself to support a knock off company. I don't mean any offense to anyone by saying that, but that's how strong I feel that we have the best product on the market.

Another interesting question Yolanda. I can see how someone would want to try out various brands, especially if you aren't loyal or stuck on one particular brand. I actually have tried others and felt like I was cheating I believe there is wisdom in understanding rather than believing someone else's opinion. I am proud of our ingredients and what we consider important in our company, customers and team members.

I always try the products I am selling in order to give a "testimonial" to my customers. That way, I can talk to them more confidently about my products and can give better suggestions.

Absolutely!!! Then you have your honest evaluation and you become passionate about what you are representing! Right ON!

I only use my companies candles and melts. I get my discount and they are fantastic. I can't see repping for a company and then using other companies products. But that's just me.
