I did it!! I got a press release published!!
Hi everyone!!
I am just so beside myself that I got 2 out of 10submittted, actually published. I will put the link for one of them below if anyone wants to read about it. I still can't believe that one single thought is turning into a reality and hopefully it will take off like as in the next "Social Network" kinda thing. I'm SO excited.!! There Are Billions of People in the World, But Only 365 Days in 1 Year so Only 365 People Will Own My1Day - PR.com

awesome! Did you have to pay a fee to submit your PR, or was it no cost? I have a PR that I wrote quite a while ago, but wasn't sure what to do with it once completed, lol

All Free...
Everywhere I have submitted have been for free. Since my business won't start to make $ until we go live (and get bids or purchases) I am doing everything that is free. Grant you, a few places I spent over 40 mins registering, waiting for a confirmation, going back in and filling everything in to THEN find out they wanted to charge me. So with those I just moved on and didn't submit. But there are a few out there that I got in for free, a few are still pending to be published...so not sure if they will be or not.
Thanks for the congrats...I feel like the little business has really been moving forward!!

Congrats!
Press releases are actually a great source of traffic and can be worked into your SEO campaign. Wait, I'm understating it: it can be a massive source of traffic.

Thanks for the congrats...I actually had a reporter call me off of one that he "might" be a special interest piece on. I'm holding back that tid-bit of info for now in hopes he WILL do it and then I can advertise that. We shall see. =-)

Congratulations for getting published.
Here's a Tip> once you get the hang of this and are doing this on a regular basis (and you will because PR work very well for getting long term recognition) it will become EXTREMELY easy to take your experience & knowledge & sell it to local businesses who love the idea of being profiled in your local newspaper > creating another easy stream of income!!
