Lightbulb Anyone selling on zazzle, etsy, cafepress etc?...

I was wondering if there are any moms selling any of their art (or crafts) on any online marketplaces or print-on-demand sites? If so I was hoping for some advice on marketing techniques as well as some answers to a few questions.

I've recently started a zazzle store & I've also put my art up on deviant art, as well as a few other print on demand sites. I've just got a small collection at the moment but I'm working on growing it every day. And I'm really hoping to make this into something that can help support myself & my daughter.

How long have you been selling your creations online? How long was it before your first sale? How much of your income comes from these sells a month? If you're on more than one site which site seems to earn you the most money?

Can we do some sort of link exchange, cross promotion or something? I'm apparently horrible at getting my name out there & I could really use the help.

Your post is from a long time ago, but I hope you or someone else might see this and have some info:

I was interested in Cafe Press, but it seemed every page on their site related to selling said something different. It took a few back-and-forth emails before one of their representatives finally leveled with me: regardless of the type of "shop" you choose, the seller is charged a monthly fee for it.

So I thought instead of going through the same aggravating process with Zazzle, I'd ask here: are you charged anything to list/sell on Zazzle, or is it free?

Obviously I'd be fine with a company taking a percentage of sales, but I can't work with one that charges sellers for simply listing items.

Any info would be appreciated- thank you!!
