View Full Version : transcription software

I am currently taking a test for a transcription company, and I could use a transcription software that has noise reduction or filters the noise. I usually use The Record Player or Express Scribe. Any ideas of any others that would help?

I used to use a program called Cool Edit Pro that had noise filters. You could also boost the volume of the audio. Another program for boosting the audio for dictations where the speaker is barely audible is DFX Audio Enhancer.
