I have two rats which I adore. I know, I know, eww...I get the weirdness factor. I kind of fell into it. To me, they're exactly like little dogs. They're extremely clean and very loving.

Anyone else? Gerbils? Hedgehogs?

The only pets that I have are cats and fish.

Awwww.... How cute! I really want a guinea pig! Not sure if the ratties will feel slighted though!

I have totally considered getting a rat. I have heard wonderful things about them as pets. I think they are adorable. I just can't get over that hairless tail...

I do consider myself do be a bit of a rodent collector. ;) I have 4 guinea pigs, two rabbits, and a chinchilla!! I love my little critters!!! :D

Ginea Pigs lol. I had one that just recently passed. My other small animals are a chihuahua and a wienie dog :)

Piggies!!! I have 5 guinea pigs and I just love them!!!! They are so darn funny, mine have me laughing all the time. I have Chloe, Daxter, Gracie, Sophie & Faith. Chloe is my oldest at the moment, she is 2. A few months ago my 6 year old Rocco passed away.

I have a kiddie pool that I put the fur babies in all together and they loved it...play with their toys & tubes...so entertaining.

Talkers they are too!! Every morning they all know the exact time, time for their lettuce & treats. They wont stop wheeking or chewing on their cage until they get their stuff. Just love my babies. :p

I have a aquarium in which more than 20 fishes lives including blue-line,sweaper (my favorite) and angel

In addition to our dog, we have a guinea pig. I have had a few guinea pigs over the years and I just love them! They are such great pets!! :) Other small pets I've had over the years include gerbils, hamsters, rabbits, salamanders, hermit crabs, fish, etc. (Not all at the same time and yes, they all got PLENTY of attention! :) ).

We have 4 snails. :D My son insisted that he is responsible enough to take care of someone on his own, but I know he sometimes forgets things, or gets bored, so I got him the safest pets possible. We picked up 4 snails from outside and if he ever gets bored we can just release them back in the wild (which I couldn't have done with a Guinea pig, or a fish).

So far he did well, feeding them and not letting them run loose around the house!

We also have a dog we adopted from the shelter, but she is my dog and I am the only one responsible for her.

We have fishes at home, that's about the littlest pet we own at the moment :)

Our smallest pet in our menagerie, is a spotted python. She certainly isn't the shortest at nearly a metre long, but is the lightest and most compact when she curls up
