I have heard the best day to have your auction end on Ebay is on Sunday's. Does anyone know if there is any truth to that?

I believe a lot of people do that because there are a lot of ebay browsers and buyers - especially on a weekend; however, if you've got a good auction headline, a good product photo and a great description, it may not affect your results if you choose another time to list your product. eBay and its affiliates will probably do some of your marketing for you.

I've heard that starting on a Thursday and running a 10 day auction (ending the NEXT Sunday) is the best because you get 2 weekends worth of buyers.

I don't think it's that big of a deal because when I'm looking for an item, I usually look for what's selling the soonest. I may be weird though.

I sell on ebay regularly with auctions ending continuously 3 times a week.

I actually have good results ending an auction on Monday from the early morning to early afternoon (better results than ending on Sunday).

It seems on Sunday there are SOOO many auctions ending that there is so much competition in many categories!

But I think when I end on Monday morning or afternoon; I catch alot of the late night Sunday shoppers who missed all the earlier closings!

Just my experience and opinion.

The most important thing is to have good keywords in your auction title so your item will be seen..and to also price it appropriately according to any competitive products on ebay.
