haha. It hasn't hit me yet, and I wonder if it ever will...

I haven't decided about washing clothes yet. They're just kinda sitting there. I mean, I want to wash them before he wears them, but there's a part of me that thinks like "Well, what if he's *really* big and we can't use those clothes for long?"

Why would you be induced at 36 weeks?

Shannon

I had a few days of wanting to clean, clean, clean, but I've slacked again and don't want 2 do anything, lol. Now that we officially know it's a boy then I've been shopping like crazy. I'm just hoping he doesn't come too early I'm buying a big set at walmart.com that has everything that I want in a matching set for $500. I'm ordering that w/ my husband's check on the 1st, lol!! I should have my big sister/big brother/little brother shirts in tomorrow that will match my theme as well.

I have to be induced at 36 wks. cause I have high bloood pressure and it gets really high about that time and meds. cant control it and at 36wks. my babies are 8 lbs.!! so waiting any longer will make my babies at least 10-11 lbs. !

Wow. I didn't know that! My BP is pretty low. It's usually 115/70 or so, but it was much lower at the last doc visit. I was told not to worry though.

A friend of mine was induced 2 weeks early because her baby was already 10lbs. eek.

I'm not supposed to get any more ultrasounds, unless there's some kind of problem, so one of my next questions to the doctor is "How do you know that my baby's not getting too big or something if you don't do an ultrasound?!"

haha.

I thought I'd be competing with you for when baby will be born, but I guess now...

I think they can tell when they measure your belly. If it starts measuring to big then they might order an ultrasound. I've never had that problem, so I don't really know

Your right they do measure the belly to see if your progressing like you should, if your too big or too small they determine if you need an ultrasound. Right now I get an ultrasound once a month but at the middle of Aug. I will start to get one every week cause with high blood pressure the babys growth can be a slow progress but since i have really big babies that is not the case. And even at 4 and 5 weeks early I am greatful that my babies lungs have been developed in spite of the early delievery.

They determine by your belly. My little man is measuring about a week ahead of time again so we're keeping an eye out on that and I'm HOPING AND PRAYING they'll tell me they'll induce me cuz I'm so sick of being pregnant!

I had a little spell of nesting a few weeks back... but now I am like... yeah I will do that later.. Let's rest right now. lol

I also quit buying stuff cause we don't know what this baby is going to be and I feel like I am in a corner and have bought all the gender neutrals that I can and anything else I buy is gonna be pink or blue. So.. patiently waiting on baby!!

I have bought a lot so far tho.. just waiting on buyingbedding, more clothes, and blankies. Oh and yes I will be washing everything before baby wears or uses it. =]

I think it's funny cause I AM normally washing and cleaning and germaphobe.. but lately I am just BLAH.. it can wait!! lolhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

Since we found out that we are having a girl this time (we already have 2 boys), I have been so excited to finally buy the pink and purple clothes! I've bought a couple things, and am trying to get everything ready for when the baby comes. We have to move my boys into one room together and then prepare the baby's room, so I feel like if I don't start trying to get it done now then we won't be ready.
And I'm also hoping for a baby around Halloween (but not that day bc it's my father-in-law's birthday!).

I was buying baby stuff from the 2nd trimester onwards in my pregnancy, hunting around for all the bargains!

I went through a phase just after 30 weeks where I wanted to clean everything... that only lasted about a week though

I was also induced, but not until 38-39 weeks, that was because my baby was estimated to be a 'BIG' baby by the ultrasound, anyway, she turned out to be 7lb 2oz, a nice size!
