I'm losing my mind!
I'm in my 10th week of pregnancy and I don't think I've had a solid
night's sleep in the last 3 weeks. Has anyone else experienced this?
Please tell me it is going to get better!
I'm exhausted when I go to bed, but can never sleep for more than 1-2
hours at a time before I'm rolling around and uncomfortable. My mind
races and I can't lie still in bed. I'm in and out of bed probably
about 6-10 times every night.
I've usually been sneaking in an hour or so nap every afternoon, so
I've tried going without a nap for the last week and still was up all
night. My OB suggested trying tylenol PM but that hasn't helped- I'm
more tired but still waking up every couple hours with my mind racing
and feeling restless. Ack!
Anyone have some suggestions or words of encouragement? This didn't
happen with my first pregnancy, and I just don't know what to do
anymore- I dread going to bed every night and I drag through the day
exhausted. smileys/smiley18.gif

I had that problem in the first trimester. But I think my was anxiety because I was soooo excited. It happened to me with all three. But eventually I got totally worn out and I was able to sleep at night. It will get better.

I too suffered from insomnia early in pregnancy, and then in my 2nd trimester I was congested all night every night, and that disappeared straight after my daughter was born.
I was having afternoon naps every day to compensate for the lack of sleep at night.
I hope you get a good night sleep soon.
