This will be my 5th and final blessing and since my last children have been born I have never, EVER had a "Baby's Room" Our children came so fast and we never had the extra space forthere own room. As each baby was born they stayed in a crib in our bedroom till they slept through the night and then they were placed with a sibling. Well the house that we moved in last Aug. finanlly has the space, but will take alot of planning and moving to get it done. I of course can't help but desperately want this to happen!

My husband is an awesome man but doesn't have the time nor the help to make this happen for me and I am so uterally sad!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif I have been bawling all afternoon. This is a dream of most mommy-to-be to get a nursery ready and to prepare for there sweet babies. I know that any other time(not being pregnant) I would not be so upset but now that I think about it I want to just die!!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gifhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gifhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley19.gif

How can I express my feeling without sounding like the whinny butt that I know I am being right now?? Hubby has not seen me cry and I know for a man this is hard to understand, so I thought that I would get the opinions of my best wahm friends.

My two teens did not have a room of their own either as a baby. When DD was born, me and Ex lived in a one bedroom apartment. When DS was born, we lived in a 2 bedroom. This is my first baby to have a baby's room as well.

The room my baby is getting WAS my DH's room. (for his tools, hobbies and other junk.. lol) So, I of course needed him to go through his stuff and make room elsewhere for it and get it out of that room so I could put a crib, changing table, dresser, and everything else in there. He did... nothing is in there now that is not for baby except some closet space I told him he could use for now.

I suggest that you sit him down, and tell him how important it is to you. If you break down and cry in front of him about it, so be it. That may even make him understand even more how important it is to you that this baby has her own room. Explain to him that you are getting closer to the baby getting here and that would sure take some weight off of your shoulders if you knew her room would be ready for her. I bet you hewill get some friends together to help him getit done!!!
