View Full Version : Had a dr's appt....

And found out I should get ready for a very active kid!

We went to get the sonogram done, and the dr couldn't find the heartbeat. Well, she'd find it and then lose it right away.

Soooo.....she brought in the ultrasound machine. He/she still wouldn't stay still!!!!! everytime she went to grab the picture, he/she would do a cartwheel. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

I told my fiance that the kid was just like him.....flipping off the camera and moving out of range!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley17.gif http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gifhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

But I got a few pictures, and I get to have the actual scheduled ultrasound in 4-6 weeks!

Congradts! Lol, I know what its like to have an active one. My little boy was stubborn for my last ultrasound. He stayed face down showing us his butt and hiding his goodies. http://wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gif

Yay!http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gifIt's good he/she is active. My little man consistently mooned us at the first ultrasound! LOL

Isn't it fun getting to watch it? Better than any movie out there! Congrats and I can't wait for you to find out the gender!

lol...the same thing happened to me at one of my earlier doctor's appts. My doctor could not find the heart beat so she did an ultrasound and the baby was doing cartwheels all over the place he would not stay still. Lol. He did cooperate for my Level II sonogram, it's so much fun to watch them.

OP, sounds like you have a boy in utero!smileys/smiley36.gif On my last doctors appointment Caleb was pissing off the nurse because every time she'd place the dopppler on my stomach to get the heartbeat he'd kick it off!smileys/smiley36.gif This child doesn't like anything on my stomach...especially DHhttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley9.gifsmileys/smiley36.gif The other night I was drinking some Yerba Mate Iced Tea and was restingthe glasson my belly and he kicked it but I caught it in time!smileys/smiley36.gif He kicked a palte of food off my stomach too!smileys/smiley36.gif I hate this built in TV tray that I can't even use....bummer!smileys/smiley36.gif So I guess we have a future NFL star here (not soccer, I hate soccer....it's gaysmileys/smiley36.gif) Edited by: FV Mom

heheh, I guess we all have wiggle worm babys! Mine is wiggly too! I had another ultrasound today and mine was upside down and kicking! It continued to move very actively for about 30 minutes after I left the Dr. As if he or she knew they were being watched. lol

My first was a really laidback dude, still is!
My youngest Zachery ,would always move out of range from all the heartbeat and scan tests, lol
In fact I spent the last two weeks in hospital because DR couldn't find him and they had a clip attached to his head through labor just to keep an eye on him ,lol

And now,at 2 he runs everywhere, hides and loves driving me nuts, just like the pg,lol
