Hey everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that I have been reading all the posts but I just have not been responding. for those of you who do not know, I have Fibromalygia...diagnosed almost a year ago...and while THANK GOD the pain is under control... for the last 3 weeks I have been exhausted (one of the symptoms of Fibro is fatigure). Not matter what I do I am fatigued to no end. I am hoping that with spring (hopefully) around the corner, I will get back to my normal energetic self (would like sooner if possible). I have battled this fatigue thing for a long time now and it comes in spurts...well guess what I have a spurt offatiguegoing on right now.
So even though I am not really responding to alot of the posts (because basically I am too tired to type it out....LOL), I am reading them.
So I just wanted to let you all know. I think for the next couple of days I may turn off the computer at around 8pmand try some new sleeping patterns (Yeah my sleeping patterns STINK) to get me out of this fatigue funk I am in.
Thanks bunches!
: )

Dawn,

I hope you feel better soon. I've known others with Fibromyalgia and it seems just horrible, both physically and emotionally. My thoughts are with you.

Dawn,

I hopeyou are back to yourself soon. Do you get massage at all? I'm a therapist and it can be very helpful, even if it's just 30 min a couple times a month. Also, acupuncture can be a great benefit, too.

Take care and check inwhen you can!

Jenn

Hey Guys....
Thanks so much for your well wishes and thoughts.

I count myself lucky because I don't nearly have it as bad as some people can get it.

Today was actually a pretty good day but still didn't get too much done...I made it my lazy day but I still kicked butt on exercising...that is one thing I force myself to do.

As for the fatigue....it seems to really hit me in the winter more then anything. I just keep trucking through it. I refuse to let this thing get me down or take over my life. I am lucky enough that my doctor found the right meds to get me on and I haven't had the need to see the Rhuematologist but I have a referral for whenever i need to.

Jenn....I did get massages for while along with physical therapy but it got to be way to expensive to keep doing it. Just for physical therapy alone after my copays and deductables I had to pay over $400....so I do the therapy exercises at home and hubby tries to help my back by doing at home massages.

Once I can beat this fatigue thing, I should be back to normal. Just waiting for this to go away. I can handle being tired but I don't like feeling down right exhausted.

Thanks again everyone! I appreciate you all http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley31.gif

Hi Dawn,

I don't personally have fibromyalgia but a waitress friend of mind has had it
and she started drinking a healthy coffee and tea that is available and has noticed a big difference in how she feels and she says she sleeps better,I guess there are alot of things you could eat or drink that would help, but she swears by what she's drinking.
