o.k. I have been surfing thru lots of stampin up bloggers and have been seeing the cutest cards! For those of you who do this, is this fairly easy for a beginner? I don't want to invest in a kit, only to find out ITS TOO HARD. Please share your experience with making cards:)) Thank you!

I think card making is super easy and I started out scrapbooking! I wouldn't buy a kit, just play with some of the stuff you already have first to see if you like it. The best part of card making is scrap-lifting. Find something you like and try to recreate it with your own supplies. Do you own any stamps? You can still make cards, but it's nice to have some stamps to get you going. You can look at some simple card examples in my art section at my website, www.jessicacote.myctmh.com (http://www.jessicacote.myctmh.com) if you'd like! Let me know if you have any questions!

I agree. I think people would be surprised how easy it is to make a card. You can buy blank cards and envelopes from Michaels or a company like Stampin Up or CTMH. Beyond that, you could even just use stamps. Or if you want more layers, just add a little paper to the background or a ribbon through the middle. I am a Stampin Up demonstrator. On the stampin up website it also has some simple technique tutorials to learn how to do the basic things. I would love to help you out if you have any questions.

Card making isn't that all difficult. Some of the coloring on stamps and some techniques might just take some practice to get the hang of it.

I love to go onto 2peas website and browse the gallery for card ideas. You will see from basic all the way to advanced on there.
