Okay... my carrot fries seem to be getting popular in a different thread, so thought I'd post the recipe for any who missed it. :) They're a great little snack or side dish, and they seem to do a good job at convincing my mind that I've eaten junk food, when I haven't. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley36.gifI actually don't follow the recipe as follows... I just spray mine with a VERY light mist of conala spray and use mrs. dash (sparingly) instead of salt, but this gives you the general idea:

Enjoy!

Got all my supplies today and will try them tomorrow! Very excited! I couldn't get Mrs. Dash because it had black pepper in it, but I got something else instead!
Thanks once again for suggesting this yummy sounding snack!

You're all welcome! This got me thinking... is there a recipe thread floating around somewhere.... if not, we should start one! I think we could all use some healthy recipes to add to our list. Sometimes it seems like we eat the same things week after week. What do you think???

Those look great!

Definitely going to try them. They remind me of carrot chips that you can buy!

Thanks!

OK I made them today, and they were ok. I don't know if I made them wrong or not, but they ended up kinda mushy! Will try again another time. My best friend also made some, and she said she didn't like them, so she threw them away but made another batch except with green beans and she said the green bean ones ROCK! So there is another healthy snack for those that don't like carrots (but you have to cook them for only 10 minutes)
Thanks again for the recipe!

Try cooking them a little longer. It took me a couple of batches to find that perfect number lol.
