Hi everyone!

Jordan Hanthorn here, certified personal trainer and fitness guru!

Just browsing throgh all the different fitness/weight loss posts and am quite impressed!

I just wanted to share this precaution with you.. if you are on any diet or weight loss plan please be careful to not cross your body's healthy weight loss boundaries!

If you are losing much more than 10 pounds a month it is unhealthy! you must train your metabolism to keep up with your body's weight loss. Here are couple tips:
1) eat 6 portioned meals/day vs. the typical 3. Instead of gorging 3x/day reduce your meal sizes and have 6 meals a day in the following format:Breakfast (smaller portion)
Lunch(smaller portion)
Dinner(smaller portion)
- snack
this allows your metabolism to run at a higher rate throughout the entire day! you are only supplementing your body with the proper amount of food (energy) it needs for the particular time frame until your next meal. Also when you eat like this, you do not feel as hungry throughout the day.
2) Try not to eat after 8PM- why? because your body does not need energy that late in the evening, therefore it is stored primarily as a fat while you sleep!
3) Drink lots of water! carry a water bottle to work and refill it throughout the day. This will keep your stomach feeling full and you wont have that strong urge to devour everything in sight! (it is also the most beneficiary thing that passes through and cleanses your body)
***4) If you are presently dieting or looking for a diet plan consider this: does your diet include an adequate amount of protiens throughout the day??? if it does not, get out! protein is essential to help us keep or LEAN MUSCLE MASS. in order to keep lean muscle mass and target FAT LOSS ONLY you must include proteins in your diet. **especially for guys looking to lose gut or unwanted fat but still stay lean and muscular! the last thing you want is to lost your fat and muscle...you will look like a skeleton! lean and toned muscle looks great!

Consider those four points and include them in your fitness/weight loss goals and i assure you will have much better results!
