Ingredients
4 pork loin chops, ½" thick
½ teaspoon salt
? teaspoon pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup sliced green onions
½ cup thin sliced celery
1 can chicken broth
13 ounces water
1 teaspoon ground sage
1 cup uncooked brown rice
Preparation
Step 1- Season chops, brown in oil, and remove. Stir onions and celery in drippings until soft. Combine broth with water to equal 3 cups. Stir in onion mix with sage and rice, put into skillet, bring to boil, and simmer 5 minutes. Arrange chops over rice in skillet, cover, simmer 55 minutes.
