5 ounces lean pork, cubed
Pinch of pepper
Pinch of garlic salt
6 tablespoons sour cream
4 ounces chuck steak, cubed
1 sm. onion, cut into rings
1 carrot, sliced
1 green pepper, seeded and sliced
1 sm. can tomatoes
1 ounce butter
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon paprika
Preparation
Step 1- Heat butter in large pan and fry onion until golden brown.
Step 2- Add meat and fry 5 more minutes.
Step 3- Add carrot, green pepper, tomatoes, paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic salt. Stir well.
Step 4- Add 3/4 pint water, cover and simmer for 1 hour, adding more water, if necessary.
Step 5- Before serving, add cream. For variation, add a pinch of cumin and 2 cubed, peeled potatoes for the last 30 minutes of cooking.
