Moisturizing Face Mask

Get a piece of peeled cucumber and slice it thinly. Mash the slices in a blender, then strain the mixture. Gather the cucumber juice in a bowl. Add ½ a teaspoon of lemon juice, and stir in a beaten egg white. This is now your moisturizing face mask. Simply apply it evenly on your face, and leave on for 20 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

For Oily Skin

If you suffer from oily skin, or if you are acne-prone, this face mask will help you combat your problem. Blend together slices of cucumber until you have created a mash. Add in 2 tablespoons of honey and 5 tablespoons of yogurt and blend well. Once evenly mixed, add in ½ a cup of oats. Refrigerate this mixture for half an hour. Then apply this evenly on your face, and leave on for a good 20 minutes. Rinse off thoroughly. For those suffering from dry skin, you may use milk instead of yogurt.

Cucumber Eye Mask

Cucumbers are also popular for use against puffy eyes and eye bags. Here's a recipe that will instantly uplift tired and puffy eyes. Mix together 1 tablespoon of Aloe Vera gel, 1 teaspoon of cucumber juice and ¼ teaspoon of cornstarch. Bring the mixture to a boil, either in a microwave or on an open flame. Remove from heat, and then mix in a tablespoon of gentle astringent. Once cooled, you will come up with a clear eye cream. Just put a small amount around your eyes, and leave on for 20 minutes before gently wiping it off.
