I just watched a video about the Better Business Bureau. I highly recommend you watch it. I heard years ago that they didn't investigate their members, but what is on this video is shocking!

Wow, interesting video. Maybe we should pay for a A+ rating. lol just kidding. I know I won't trust the BBB ratings anymore.

It is a shame, because there are some great companies that deserve the A+ rating. I know I'll be more careful in counting on the rating now.

Hey Julie, I was on your blog and saw that your from Calif and your looking to move back. What part of Calif? I'm from San Diego. My brother and his family are still there. He's a real estate broker and mortgage broker out there. He says that field isn't doing to good out there now. It's starting to pick up a little but it's not like it used to be.

I grew up in the San Fernando Valley, but I lived for 27 years in the Santa Clarita Valley. We left CA in 1995.

When we return to CA, we're looking near Menifee (not far from Lake Elsinore). We can't seriously look at homes there until we sell our AZ house. It is still a buyers market right now, but until we sell, we can't take advantage of the much lower than usual home costs in SoCA.

We have family in Pasadena, Santa Clarita & Oceanside. How long ago did you leave San Diego?

Grew up in Spring Valley which is about 30 min from downtown San Diego. Came out here after my late husband died in 1986 (He's buried in Riverside at the Military Cemetery next to the base)
Was here a couple of years and was ready to move back to San Diego when I married my next husband. He's a native Delawarian and I can't get him to move out of this start for beans. Been married to Andy for over 20 years now. Had him out to Calif several times and he likes it but he's afraid Calif is going to fall in the ocean lol. He loved Vegas. Almost had him talked into moving out there but then the earthquake hit San Francisco (about 15 - 20 years ago?) and he changed his mind so I'm stuck here on the east coast.

Many people out here say they don't like Calif because Calif doesn't have the 4 seasons. I explain to them that yes they do. Just have to go into the mountains to play in the snow. I tell them that in Calif you can go into the mountains, play in the snow, drive down to the beach and thaw out and get a suntan. Can you do that out here??? Nooooo. lol

When they ask me if I been in any earthquakes I tell them yes, and I just get my surfboard out, put it on the waterbed and ride the waves, lol

I too was widowed, in 1985, and I've also re-married. My husband and I will celebrate our 20th anniversary on January 1st.

This really is shocking! And, they really have the wool pulled over the eyes of the American public, don't they?

I think it is sad for those with an A+ rating that really deserve it. It takes away from the validity of their rating.
