The easycontact ad YUCK
Is there something that can be done to remove the ad? I don't have a problem with the content of the ad itself, but the fact that if a smidge of your cursor hits the add a HUGE drop down box appears and you cannot get rid of it makes navigating the site not enjoyable.
I don't really care how much cash it's bringing in, it's driving traffic AWAY from wahm.

I am so glad that I am not the only one! Any time my cursor goes anywhere near the ad, half of the screen disappears underneath. Frustrating!

No rollovers
I Understand that its necessary to have advertising on the forum in order to keep it going...HOWEVER the advertisers should be secondary to your members.
You should NOT PERMIT any ads with that rollover crap on the board. It is so freaking annoying that I want to scream every time it blocks my whole screen with its ad because my mouse brushed past it. EVEN if I was REMOTELY interested in what they were advertising, at this point I'd NEVER bother seeing what they have to offer because they have throughly turned me off with their misuse of the advertisement. I feel that we should not need to do something special to prevent this but Advertisers on wahm should not be permitted to submit that type of ad. We as wahm users can't have more than 2 lines in our signatures among other rules we need to abide by, so I feel that some rules should be applied to advertisers too ....especially no rollover ads. Thanks....steps off my soapbox now _______
