Can I use the Walmart gift card to purchase other gift cards that they sell at Walmart?

Actually they covered on a call about a month ago that if any rep is caught buying another giftcard with your giftcard, it would be grounds for immediate termination. They made it very clear that the intent is to use it for tangible items...groceries, etc. Just sayin.....that's what they mentioned

Not just for groceries. Use your gift card to purchase anything sold in the store. I shop in the garden center a lot and buy live plants for my garden. Mix it up and spend it all over the store if you don't want groceries. Just have fun while shopping for free.

You are correct, it can be used for whatever the store sells, EXCEPT for other giftcards. Gary specifically mentioned on the call.....for me personally I would not want to jeapordize this fantastic opportunity I have with this company!

Anyone else remember hearing this? It was on a Monday night update call...

Yes, I remember hearing it on a Monday training call. He made it very clear NOT to buy other gift cards.

I missed this call. I wold like someone to explain to me the reason why you can not purchase another gift card. I was a customer service manager at Walmart and you are allowed to purchase another giftcard with any walmart shop/gift card.

Gary made it very clear on one of the training calls....I would suggest calling the company and talking with cust.svc so that you can get the information directly. Since it was some time ago, the details are not as clear however what I remember hearing loud and clear is that any rep caught buying a visa or other type of giftcard with our giftcard will be terminated immediately. Because of that I make sure that I don't publicly announce that one may do this...but again, give them a call, they are great there and I'm sure they will be able to explain why....our product/service is groceries and if we choose to get a giftcard from the largest retailer in the world, then yes we can buy the products in the store...

On another call it was mentioned that we are also not to advertise the store name since we are not affiliated with them in any way.

I find it best to stay compliant in order to protect the company and have this great opportunity around for years to come!
