Default facepainting

If you offer facepainting, you will be surprised at how popular your planning business will become. It is easy to learn and the kids (and many adults) will get their faces painted at the parties!

Default Party Planning plan

I really wanted to do party planning. But of course I don't have any experience in it. So I thought the best option was Noah's Ark. That way I get the experience of Party Planning and I get my feet wet with all the inventory i need and the backup marketing that is already supplied to me. Plus I wanted to work with kids too, since I don't have a teaching degree I thought this would be the next best thing. Build a Bear is so popular and Noah's is so much more affordable. Plus the kids get to do all the work and really feel a connection with their creation. Hopefully starting this way will get me some experience to do the major party planning down the road. But I am having fun just having my animal and princess parties. Good luck with your search and plans for party planning.

I have no interest in party planning LOL, but found this a very interesting post! I have friend that does parties for kids and her parties range from "hair bow parties" where girls can build their own hair bows to chef parties where the kids can make an easy treat that they take home as their party goody. Good luck with your businesses ladies and gents !

( 1 ) Decide how elaborate you want to go with your business. Do you want to offer several party options or just stick with one or two party packages for your party customers. Newest party entertainers usually start off with just one option and then add on others from there as they establish a clientele and gain credibility. Some options for starting are:

Birthday Clown
Magician
Craft Lady
Story Teller
Make Your Own Stuffed Animal entertainer
Face Painting
Card making
Spa and Facial Parties

( 2 ) Determine any small business licensing and requirements you might need locally. If you are reselling products, for instance, you'll probably need a simple resellers account with your state or a sales and use tax license.

Determine your party packages and prices based on supplies needed, your time, etc. Create fliers or brochures to give to interested customers. Set up a website if possible or create a blog so your clients can find you online.

( 3 ) Advertise! Choose whether you want to invest in some paid advertising in the form of your local paper, online websites and more, or do some free advertising by submitting press releases, handing out fliers and doing presentations at kid friendly events. In the summertime walk in parades and hand out your business information and don't forget that word of mouth is your best form of advertising there is. Provide great service and people will talk about you and spread the word.

The advantages to this business are that your start up costs are low, it's creative and it's always fun--heck, you should also know what kids like today so that you can plan parties around the cartoon character or hit movie of the hour. And you'll need to be a people person who can make sure that no shy child gets left out of the fun.

I am interested in starting my own party business.I despratly children try to get along with my children on the ground and have a few parties, but no real chance. I do not think people have money to go over kids b-day party today! I think it's good for me.
