I am very interested in ideas and direction for creative childcare. I have done childcare in my home on base a few years ago and often worked in my local church and presently work with middle schoolers. I love children and would love to compensate my income with a passion I love!!!!
I have registered with care.com and have had inquiries but no jobs. I would like to offer something different like perhaps transporting from school to activities in the evening or even something on weekends for parents that have weekend work. Also I was interested in contacting local business or hotels for providing childcare for a small group of children when parents travel or have business to tend to. Again I do work at a local school till 3:00pm, but want to reach out to the odd schedules for parents. I appreciate any help and tips!!! |

Have you thought of offering an errand service for new or busy moms? For instance, charging them x amount to do their grocery shopping, childcare, light office/clerical tasks, transporting the kids (to appointments for instance).... One of my friends even did hospital childcare. That's where the parents can't bring their children to their appointments so they are stuck in finding childcare-- especially if they are in a different city or state. Then you would come into place as far as offering to watch their children. Hopefully that makes sense
