The Ultimate Thrift Store Score!

Hi! I couldn't resist sharing what I found at my local thrift store today. I'm a volunteer there, so I get all my stuff for 50% off. Anyway, someone donated a working older Compaq Presario laptop - and I got my hands on it for $20.00! Even if I can't get it online, it still plays DVDs and it'll be an awesome learning tool for my 4th grader!

It really does pay to shop at thrift stores!

I just got a new laptop and was thinking I should probably just throw the old one away. It is only about two years old, but I only paid about $300 for it. Thanks for the tip. Shame on me. I didn't think about taking it to a thrift store. As long as I can get the hard drive wiped clean it might be really appreciated by someone else.
