How do you explain comm value that is listed in our back office on the products?

Barb-
That's the amount that is eligible for commission. For example, 1 16 oz. Jar has a CV of $4.75 which means that if someone you've directly sponsored orders a case of 12 jars, you earn = $4.75 x 12 x 10% = $5.70 commission.
(I think my math is right!)

Correct, so in actuality, we are only making 5% commisions on our downline if you look at it from the cost of the candle and not the cv.
That was never explained to me and i thought i was making 10% of the distributor cost which was the 9.50.
Make sense? smileys/smiley2.gif

Me too, Jen! It through me for a loop! The CV is lower on the candles, but higher on the soaps.
I justgive them the discount sheet and it lists the CV price on each item also. That way theyhave the list to look at.
It does still add upsmileys/smiley4.gif

Ashley, if you look in your back office you will see the CV for each product. For the jars, the volume we get paid on is the $4.75. So we make 10% of 4.75 which is .47 per jar.
I was just saying looking at the big picture, we really make 5% of the actual purchase price that reps pay (9.50)
So yes, we make 10% of our downlines sales, but that is on the CV and not the acutal rep purchase price.
Sorry to confuse you. I confuse myself sometimes! hhahahaah
You arent blonde are you? smileys/smiley36.gif

Hi Mia Bella LOVERS!smileys/smiley17.gif
In every company like ours, there is a commissionable value placed on each product. The company management has to determine what is a fair value to place on each so that they can stay in business and we can make an income.
Each company also determines how many levels they choose to pay in the compensation plan.
Ours has the added bonus of deep residual income of 6 LEVELS and deeper.
I like the fact that ours was well thought out by the management over four years ago keeping everyone earning income and in business!!smileys/smiley20.gif

I would also explain that the CV aka commissionable value is 10% on the Candle of the Month Club
and
There are additional bonuses, for example,in addition to the CV, thesponsoring distributor is paid$50.00 for the Fast Start Pack
and Leadership Bonuses!
