So I recently joined the online world of freelance writing. I'm not completely unfamiliar.I worked for a friend in the past who was a wed designer. Since I am somewhat of a newbie I figured I would start out with some of the easier sites. I applied to The Content Authority, which I am less then pleased with. Today I applied to textbroker and was accepted about two hours later and i'm a lot more excited about textbroker. I spent some time going through the articles and and some of them said they wanted 300 to 400 words and I would make $3 to $4. When I read the actual description of what the article called for it seemed as though they wanted 300 to 400 words, but also a 150 word meta description on top of this. Is this a common thing with these type of sites? It does not really seem fair to me.

I've just started with TB also, and so far, I haven't run into the meta tag situation.

You might want to post this question on the Writing forum. There are lots of experienced TB writers there; I'm not sure they check the Web Design forum.
