I was asking a rep how long the candles burn for and they could not tell me! Does anyone know the burntime on your products?

Greetings!
Our candles have exceptionally long burn times, especially when proper candle burning rules are followed http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif
Our 2.5 oz votives last 15-20 hours (when enjoyed in a snug fitting, straight sided votive cup and burned in approx. 2-3 hour increments) A votive will fragrance a smaller area like a bathroom or small bedroom. Some people have experienced amazingly large scent throw with the votives, but the typical is a smaller area.
Our 16 oz jars last 100-120 hours (when enjoyed 3-4 hours at a time) The jars, when centrally located will fragrance up to about 2500 square feet.
Our Bella Buns last about 20 hours and will burn down the center leaving a 'doughnut' shape which is great to use in our electric warmer. Buns will fragrance an area similar to the votives.
Of course enjoy you candle in an area free from drafts (including winter heating vents which can accelerate the burn time by making the flame burn hotter) and also any air purifiers/ air filtration systems may actually pull aroma OUT of the air!
Enjoy!

Dito on the info from Alethea....I get allot of burn time with my jars. I also use a METAL candle crown and that keeps any extra draft from getting to my precious flame. Can you tell we are all in love with our candleshttp://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley27.gif?

I know from experience some fragrances burn longer than others. And in my house their are some rooms that I get a really long burn time and others that I don't due to drafts or fans.

Nicole....get yourself a METAL candle topper or crown and you can really save on the draft problem. We too have ceiling fans that we run all year to circulate cool/warm air. This had given me more burn time.
P.S. I also heard from a Y candle burner (now a MB customer) that the Y toppers fit our jars. Of course tell them only to use the METAL ones, ceramic or glass may crack due to the heat!

The company doesn't recommendusing toppers on our jars because of the double wicks. That's what I've heard many times in the past.

No Glass or Ceramic but Metal will not crack no matter how hot it gets.

I thought this was for the jar warmers that go underneath the jar to burn from bottom to top. I thought we just couldn't use them because of the double metal wick.?

We are also not to use the warmers. They have caused jars to crack and explode. This warning is now on the jar label.
As for metal toppers, I didn't think it had to do with the topper cracking, but there shouldn't be anything obstructing the opening of our jars because the jar itself might crack (more heat build up with any toppers).Edited by: BarbB

We have double, 100% cotton wick's... there is no metal in our wick's. Just a friendly FYI. http://www.wahm.com/forum/smileys/smiley4.gif

I think the tabs at the bottom of the wicks is metal which is why they recommend not using a candle warmer.
